1. The Beginning - Establish the facts
We won’t make any assumptions about your pensions and always aim to establish all the material facts on behalf of our clients.

In this example, there are two known pension pots of £15,000 and £25,000.
1. The Beginning - Establish the facts
Many people have accrued pension benefits in different schemes, e.g. from different jobs. Often the pots are spread about with different providers and subject to different rules.
1. The Beginning - Establish the facts
In some cases, some ‘pots’ are known to exist, but their value is unknown.
1. The Beginning - Establish the facts
In rare cases, we also uncover forgotten or previously unknown pots. For example, Contracted Out pensions which are funded by National Insurance Contributions rather than direct from you.
1. The Beginning - Establish the facts
In all cases, we work on your behalf to obtain the information needed to get a full and up to date
picture. Some pots turn out to be worth more than expected, and some less.1. The Beginning - Establish the facts
Our analysis goes beyond policy values and looks at the pension rules and entitlements too.

2. The Report and Recommendations
Having waded through the raft of documentation, your Cavendish Financial LLP Adviser will prepare
a concise report, summarising all the details in a clear and easy to digest format.2. The Report and Recommendations
As well as looking back, the report will outline possible future benefits, based on reasonable
assumptions, to provide a forecast and so help assess where you’re likely to be against where
you’d like to be.2. The Report and Recommendations
The forecasts can use a range of assumptions, including investment growth. In this example, the forecast is based on 5% growth.
2. The Report and Recommendations
You will normally receive three forecasts to show a range of possible outcomes. Here, the mid-rate is 7%.
2. The Report and Recommendations
And to complete the picture, the final forecast is based on 9% investment growth.
2. The Report and Recommendations
It is important to recognise that forecasts are not guaranteed. The benefits will depend on how the investments actually grow. In this example, the final benefits are between the mid and higher growth forecasts.
2. The Report and Recommendations
Your Cavendish Financial LLP Adviser will meet with you to discuss the report. Consolidation does not suit everyone & so it may simply be a case of going through your existing pensions. Where consolidation does offer clear benefits, any recommendations & proposed actions will be fully explained.
3. Implementation
Some pots may be worth leaving put, but where it makes sense, your Cavendish Financial LLP Adviser will
handle all the paperwork to bring your pots together into one plan.4. Some benefits of Consolidation
